As you can probably tell from the title, I have nothing to post about so I'm posting a tutorial.
But anyway, I'm sure we've all wanted music for our blogs at some point in history (Or right now!) so I'm going to show you how I managed to get music for mine.
First, go to
this site. It's very useful.
After you're there, this is what it should look like:

First, (optional) you'll want to choose a skin for your player. This is the color/design your player will look like at the top of your page. Since this is Febuary and it will go along with the color scheme of this site right now nicely, I have chosen pink.
(Notice how the player at the top changed colors according to your design selection, too?)
Then, click next. This will pop up:
This is the hardest part. (And it isn't that hard!) I'd recommend using YouTube for this.
So what you'll do is search the video you want in your playlist. Choose something with good audio! I will just choose Native Faith for this tutorial because it's one of my favorites.
Now, after you have found your video, copy the address from the address bar, which looks like this:
(To copy and paste, just left-click the text in the bar two times quickly, then right click it once and choose copy. Then, right-click on the place where you want the text to go and choose paste.)
Then paste the text into one of the right spaces of the slots:
Then add your title. I would suggest adding the music's creator in the title too, or else you might get in trouble.
Then add whatever other songs you would like your viewers to hear, using the same tactic as the first one. You can click Add More Songs if you want more songs spaces. Once you're done with that, click Next. (Make sure to include ALL the songs you want, because it's really a pain to sort and add more.)
Now, these are just extra settings. They're not that important, and you'll probably find yourself only using one or two of them, but I'll still include what they do.
1- Auto Play Just makes it so that songs will automatically play on your blog without your viewers doing anything. Useful.
2-Shuffle Playback Shuffles your songs into random order.
3-Default Volume Changes how high or low the volume is on the playlist without your viewers adjusting anything. I'd suggest leaving it the way it is, you don't want to rupture your viewers' eardrums or make them not notice you even have music.
4-Repeat Mode You can change whether your playlist automatically repeats after it's been listened to, whether it only plays once, or whether it will repeat songs.
5-Placement of Player Bar Changes where the playlist will show up on your blog.
6-Show Playlist by Default Changes whether your viewers will automatically see all the songs in your playlist. It can be confusing and frustrating for some people though, so I'd suggest leaving it unchecked.
After you're done reviewing your options, click done. This will come up:
Now, copy the text or code, then go to the Layout setting on your Blogger blog.
Then, click Add a Gadget wherever you can. If there isn't any Add a Gadget options, then you'll need to change your layout. Do this in Design.
Once you've done that, choose HTML/Javascript.
In the box that comes up, paste the code then save.
View your blog, then your playlist should show up and hopefully play!
